15 January 2020: ENGIE Services Kuwait, an international leader in providing low-carbon energy and innovative integrated facilities management solutions, has signed a contract with Taiba Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in Kuwait, to further enhance and introduce new model of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) delivery in the Kuwaiti market.
The contract was inked by Mr. Tareq Mishari Al Bahar, Executive Director and partner at Al Dhow Engineering, a joint venture partner to the ENGIE Services Kuwait, Ms. Lama Al Fadala, CEO, Taiba Hospital and Mr. Tomas Greenwood, General Manager of ENGIE Services Kuwait. The signing ceremony, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait – Burj Alshaya, was also attended by Her Excellency Madame Marie Masdupuy The French Ambassador to Kuwait.
Taiba Hospital will receive total integrated facilities management and energy management services from ENGIE. This will include integrated technical, cleaning, and security services, as well as loss prevention, porter/helper and valet parking services, and the management of waste, pest control, landscaping, and laundry.
Speaking on the new contract, Tomas Greenwood said: “The contract with Taiba Hospital confirms ENGIE’s position as a global provider of IFM and energy services in Kuwait’s healthcare sector. Outsourcing our support services will enable us to deliver better quality and enhanced patient care, with the focus on quality, patient safety, and world class services. Additionally, working with ENGIE will enable us to reduce our energy consumption in the coming five years.”
